New Faculty Institute Preview
The New Faculty Institute focuses on the teaching culture of Chemeketa Community College. Each Fall, new full-time faculty participate in this one and one-half day New Faculty Institute prior to the College's Fall Inservice activities. The Institute is designed to:
introduce new faculty to the teaching side of Chemeketa,
provide new faculty with new ideas about teaching and learning,
answer quesitons about teaching at Chemeketa,
provide support for new faculty during their first year at Chemeketa as a full-time faculty member, and
to build relatoinships with other new faculty members and Chemeketa faculty.
The following outline is a working schedule and is subject to change. It will give you an overview of the two-days of activities. Full participation is expected.
Day One: 8:15AM - 4:00PM
8:15AM - Meet in the Opportunity Center; Building 9, Room 109 - Coffee and rolls provided.
